CCPIT Vice Chairman Yu Ping Attending the Second Asian Business Forum
On September 29, the 2nd Asian Business Forum held by Keidanren was held in Tokyo. CCPIT Vice Chairman Yu Ping attended the forum.
Themed with “Achieving Sustainable Economic Growth in Asia through Private Sector Initiative”, the forum attracted 13 business organizations of 11 economies to Tokyo. Delegates to the forum passed the 2nd Asian Business Summit Joint Statement, which promised to closer ties between different Asian business circles, promote regional economic integration, economic recovery and sustainable growth, and make Asia a leading power in the world economy.
In his meeting with President of Keidanren, Vice Chairman Yu said that a series of high-level influential trade and economic activities could be held in 2012 when China and Japan would be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the diplomatic ties. President of Keidanren said that his organization would take initiative to discuss with CCPIT about details of such activities and would, as always, cooperate with CCPIT on Green Expo.
